As you are aware sport not only provides unmeasured benefits to a individuals physical health, but also the life skills learn in this area can play a more significant part in their lives providing them with frequent and quality experiences.

It is during this critical time in a child’s life that we hope to help you not only make an greater impact but further cement the foundation you already provide.

We have developed specialised training for the leaders/managers/coaches/ and other important staff. The purpose is to help you develop the awareness  and understanding of the emotional and psychological aspect within sport.

The Levels of Training

Level 1 Training – 2hr

The purpose of the Grassroots training is to create a foundation of understanding regarding mental health and its increasing impact within sport.

Our goal is to help you to become further aware of your role and the significance of aiding the children through their development.

The training will include:

  • Mental health awareness
  • Implications within your sport
  • Identifying signs and symptoms
  • Plan of early intervention
  • A brief overview of areas of development

Level 2 Training – 2 x 2hrs

The purpose of the Foundation Training is to provide you with a excellent foundation of practical knowledge regarding a child’s development and its implications withing your sport.

(This training is in additional to the previous levels)

This will focus on:

  • Stages of child development
  • Implications within your sport
  • Common pitfalls and issues
  • Maximise my role as ………

Level 3 Training – 3 x 2hrs

Level 4 Training – 4 x 2hrs

The purpose of the Professional Training is to introduce the use of mindfulness and relaxation techniques within a sporting context. We will not only explore the theory but have opportunity to try the different approaches.  These tools can be used to either reduce anxieties and stresses or to increase skill acquisition and refinement.

(This training is in additional to the previous levels)

This will focus on:

  • Explore the fundamentals of mindfulness
  • introduce relaxation techniques such as PMR
  • Identify  our limits

Level 5 Training – Flexible

The purpose of the Elite Training is to begin to build a action plan for your own club/organisation and identify how you can integrate the theories and strategies into your ethos. visited throughout. This involve mock training sessions and peer assessment

There is no limit to the time we take within this training, this will be dictated by you and hope much you feel you will need.

This will focus on:

  • Plan formulation 
  • Integration in to current training
  • Active mock sessions.
